LADA 2103 front panels guide

Some info about 2103 front panels (we call it "apron"). Probably somebody would find out his car's panel was replaced.

Cars from the end of 1972 had no holes in apron. Known as "blind" apron.

1973 to the beginning of 1975 - apron recieved 25 vents. Knows as "float" apron.

1975 to 1984 aprons had only 2 vents but please keep in mind that in the beginning of 1975 both "float" and 2-vents aprons were installed.

The reason of these modification was over-cooling of the car in long ascents as 2103 engine had bigger volume and power comparing to 2101.
