LADA - still the most popular

Analysts of the "AUTOSTAT" Agency have made a research over the passenger cars in Russia as of 1 January 2017 and have identified the most popular model. According to the research, the most popular car is LADA 2107. In our country at the beginning of this year, there were 1.75 millions of VAZ "the seven". The second popular car is another sedan LADA 2106, which amounted to 1.67 millions units. LADA 4x4 which was in the amount of 1.16 millions closes the top three, The indicators of the other models are accounted for less than 1 million units but the next four positions in the ranking are also the models of AVTOVAZ: LADA 2109, LADA 2110, LADA 2114 and LADA 2105. And only after them goes Ford Focus which became the most popular foreign car in Russia. According to analysts of the "AUTOSTAT" Agency, as of 1 January 2017 in Russia there were 13.9 millions registered LADA cars. This corresponds to a part of 33.3% which is the largest indicator among all the brands. Thus, every third car in the country – is LADA.
